Last night, because I am such a good friend, I went to the bar my friend manages because they were filming “the talk” for The Hills between Lauren and Audrina and they needed at least 30 people to be there to make it look like it was a happening place. I had to sign a release form and was pretty much planted in the same seat next to them, so yeah, I’ll probably be on TV. I will give you a list of things that went down because numbers are fun and it is easier to read:
- The lighting was crazy. They had it set up for 2 days and they had funny lights on the bar to make your lipgloss EXTRA shiny. That being said, I wish I could take that lighting crew around with me wherever I go b/c I looked AWESOME last night.
- They made 3 entrances. They came in to get the scope of the place, then they made 2 seperate entrances to get it right so they looked like they were awesomely entering a place where they were having fun.
- When they got there, the bouncer id’d them and then, trying to be cool, told them that since someone was filming “some sort of reality tv show here” they would have to fill out a release because they might be on tv. They filled it out and Audrina said she hoped she would make it on there. Needless to say that is hilarious.
- They kept on waving and smiling and saying hi to people who weren’t there, or that they didn’t know. It was strange.
- They were on their blackberries the ENTIRE time.
- Did I mention how AWESOME I looked in the lighting. Seriously, they know what they are doing.
- They filmed the exit 4 times. It was weird, they kept coming back in and leaving again.
- I spent half the night w/ some dudes from London talking about how expensive shit is. That was fun.
- Free drinks.
