According to the press release this show “is neither thematic nor programmatic…represents a dialogue between the older and younger generation, yet it resists the trends employed in the successful marketing of superficial appearances.” You know how I read that? “we couldn’t actually think of any curatorial reason to put these artists together and so we used the cop out of generational differences in their art. Look at what abstract and alternative thinkers we are.”
