Jeff Koons Hanging Heart
Newsweek’s art critic Peter Plagens just wrote an interesting article about the parallels between Koons, the Bush Era, and the future after Bush is out of office. It’s definitely worth a read, the metaphor gets a bit redundant, but we get a few of the always entertaining druggie like ramblings of Koons, like this classic “I believe that my art gets across the point that I’m in this morality theater trying to help the underdog.”
Really Jeff (yes, I am calling you Jeff from now on), I don’t think anyone is buying that anymore. The underdog? Morality Theater? Seriously? If you are serious, give me the name of your dealer because whatever you are on, I want in.
