Paintings/drawings/sculptures are all Cy Twombly. The neon installations are Dan Flavin.
*If I get chased out of the place for taking pictures I will do my best to get a picture of the security guard chasing me.
Going to take a shower and make myself presentable (for the first time during my sojourn to Houston) and then off to the Menil Collection. A little Rothko, Flavin, and Twombly to pick up any rainy/dreary day. Especially Flavin! I apologize for any graininess in my cell phone pictures that are to follow!
Update: Ok, I didn’t get to take as many pictures as I liked because a#1. you aren’t allowed to take pictures and the security guards were giving me the evil eye and b#2. It started raining like crazy so we had to leave. I am hoping tomorrow we are going to try again if the weather allows.
