One of the many artists that don’t come to mind immediately when I think of my favorites, then I start going through their oeuvre and realize I have always really been attracted to the pieces I have seen over the years.

I have been trying to remember this artist’s name and for the life of me I kept coming up with Jack White, who is obviously not the artist and actually the front man for The White Stripes.  Why Jack White kept popping into my head, no one will ever know.

Leonid Tishkov & Boris Bendikov Private Moon, 2003-2005

It’s from a series they did showing what it would be like if you could bring the moon to you when and where you needed it.  Needless to say it is surreal and fantastical.*

*Also, needless to say I am in love.  It’s like bedtime story.
